The Barnyard is honestly the best decision my husband and I could have made when it comes to childcare in Boise. We looked at several other facilities in the valley and even looked into a nanny at home. None of those options we explored could even come close to what the Barnyard has provided our family. From the first conversations with management to our Little's first day of daycare at six months old, we had the best experience possible. Their attention to detail is seriously impressive! They have thought of everything it takes for a young mind to be safe, secure, loved and to THRIVE! The facility is exceptionally clean and welcoming. Meals and snacks are well thought out, healthy, and fun! All of the staff are clearly dedicated to their work and love to be with the children in their care. The Brightwheel app they use to log activities throughout the day is a great way to feel comfortable with what happens each day, and is a quick way to communicate with teachers and staff there is ever a need. Watching our daughter be in an environment she loves and is excited to be in every day, where she is engaged and learning (even at such a young age) is a huge reassurance for a first time parent. I could not ask for anything better. Thank you to the Barnyard team from the bottom of our hearts!

Fabulous, happy teachers, warm, caring owners and managers, and a well-run operation. High standards of service to parents and kids with clear expectations about teachers interacting with the children, not being on their phones, and very limited screen time for kids (only older kids). Safe infant sleeping practices, owners who care enough to offer employee benefits, I could go on and on. We love Barnyard!

I am someone who has pretty high standards when it comes to customer service- it takes a lot to impress me. When I give a glowing review, you know it’s a truly amazing business… but get ready for a GLOWING review! The Barnyard is, without a doubt, the greatest daycare in the entire Boise area. As a parent, here is what I want in a daycare: reasonable prices, simple/clear communication about my child and how they are doing, a fun and loving environment, reliable/consistent staff, employees who know my child as an individual (not just as another kid), educational activities, a bright/clean facility, outdoor play, good food, and safe check in/check out procedures. The Barnyard checks EVERY SINGLE BOX! I have literally never been able to say my daycare is perfect, but here I am. Perfection! This morning, my kid opened the car door, jumped out, and yelled "Bye Mom!” without even looking back. As I drove away, she was giving the employee a big hug. This is definitely not typical for my kid and speaks to how unique and awesome the Barnyard is.

This place is amazing. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, caring and responsive. The facility is new, clean and awesomely designed for little ones. The menu is wonderful - I feel great about what my child eats there during the day. The thing I love the most is their curriculum - every week is a different unit - even for the youngest kids! They have designated art time, music time, story time, outside time, etc. At 2 years old, I feel like my daughter is getting an amazing start to her education. I also really appreciate the Brightwheel app they use- I get pictures and updates all day long about what my daughter is doing. I would recommend this daycare 1000 times over.
